This digital methodology is the development of the project “kima labirišu”, experimented by P. Negri Scafa and S. Petronilli in 2001.
The results are also presented at the 48^ RAI, Leiden 2002 and 51^ RAI, Chicago, 2005.
This branch of DR Project principally aims to the acquisition of museum tablets in order to:
- contribute to their cataloguing and indexing
- study tablets through CAD 3D models reducing to the minimum their handling
- make joins of tablet fragments easier
- make copies or casts of tablets for educational purposes
