Due to the difficult political situation in recent years the library of the IRAQ MUSEUM has not been able to acquire important new books and journals. At the request of the Iraqi authorities the Centre of Assyriology at the University of Pisa has accepted to collect and ship donations of books or journals from institutions and individuals outside Iraq.
